The F-22 is a jet fighter of the 5th generation capacity stealth 5th generation. It has two engines turbofan with afterburning Pratt & Whitney F119-PW-100 capable of vectored thrust . The maximum thrust is a classified information , even if most of the sources gives the value of 156 k N for propulsor. It is estimated a maximum speed of around Mach 1.82 mode Supercruise (ie without the use of afterburners ).
